February 2005:
Support the senior citizens of Rainbow Village in celebrating Chinese New
Year; refreshments and lucky red envelopes were provided. All the
residents had a wonderful time.
April 2005:
Attended ''Taiwan Tourist Festival''at the Chinese Culture Center where our
bank's employees prepared traditional Taiwanese pastries.
May 2005:
To celebrate our bank's anniversary and to show our appreciation, during
our ''Customer Appreciation Week,'' we provided refreshments and gifts to
our customers. Without customer's support, we wouldn't exist.
June 2005:
Bank employee Ms. Hai-Ny Fang was invited to the Chinese youth group
summer camp sponsored by the Chinese Community Center to
demonstrate the homemade pasta, Crispy chips, etc. All the campers
enjoyed the program and gave high commendation.
Our bank sponsored the Chinese Senior Citizen Association in Houston in
celebrating the ''Dragon Boat Festival'' at the Chinese Culture Center.
Our bank provided 500 pieces of ''Zong Zi'' and salty eggs.
Joined the Asian American Real Estate Association's special program ''Home
Buyer Fair.'' The current Asian population in Harris/Fort Bend area is
approximately 221,000, which is 5.8% of the total population. Many Asians
are seeking to fulfill the American dream of owning homes surrounded with
white picket fences. The Asian American Real Estate Association brought
together the Asian community and people in the real estate industry at the
2005 Home Buyer Fair. |
