PayPal can simplify the payment side of your eCommerce Website. Here are some simple instructions for how to set up a PayPal account for your business' Website.

How do I select a type of PayPal Account?

You can either choose Website Payments Standard or Website Payments Pro.

With a Website Payments Standard account, checkout is conducted on the PayPal site. Members will know they are checking out at PayPal.

With Website Payments Pro, checkout will occur on your Website. Payment information will be sent to PayPal and you will get the payment status details back from PayPal. Site visitors won't be aware that their transactions are being conducted through PayPal. This account requires a $20 monthly fee.

How do I upgrade from PayPal Standard to PayPal Pro?

  1. Log in to PayPal.
  2. Click on the “Merchant Services” link.
  3. Click the “Website Payments Pro” link on the left.
  4. Click “Submit Application” on the right.
  5. Fill in the online application form. It requires company information such as your employer identification number.
  6. PayPal will review the application, and then either approve or deny it.
  7. If the application is approved, forward the approval email to SunNet at support@sunnet.us.
