Microsoft Outlook 2002 Setup for SunNet Clients

To setup Microsoft Outlook 2002 you will need to take the following steps.
1. Open Microsoft Outlook. Click "Tools" and select "E-mail Accounts."

2. Select "Add a new e-mail account" and click "Next."

3. Choose "POP3" and click "Next".

4.Enter the information highlighted in green. The User Name is your email account.
Click "More Settings." Note: Make sure the box near "Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)" is unchecked.

5. Select the "Outgoing Server” tab, and then check "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication." Choose "Use same settings as my incoming mail server."

6. When the user has selected “More Settings,” the final step is to keep a copy of emails on the server for seven days. You can do this in the “Delivery” sub-category. Click "OK," then "Next," and then "Finish."
