BP America, Inc. A+ for Energy Grant Application

A+ for Energy, BP America, Inc.’s education grant program has a new application in place that drastically reduced its operating costs. The application has streamlined the program’s business processes and significantly helped to reduce the company’s carbon footprint, as well as simplified the application process for its users.

The application hosts a slew of e-learning resources and offers BP content, event and survey management capabilities. It captures all information on its users, through registration – which provides the BP grant team with valuable real-time information. The application has searchable contact and information databases, and role-based user permissions.  Application users also have a “My Portal” page that conveniently personalizes their experience.

The Web-based application was created with Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio 2008, Windows Server 2003 and Office 2007.
